GREY AND BLACK

Grey are my days, black are my nights
The spectrums of color banished

I see the sun but there is no light
It always rains, no food for the famished

Children's laughter from a nearby school
Sound is an enemy fought within

Some people say that I am being a fool
I say that they are judging my sin

I sorrow for those who can't understand
What it is like to come to an end

To stop and halt this eternal pain I plan
My will is strong and I'm not going to bend

Grey are the days, black is the night
One chance to put things right
